Our chef, Butsaba, has made food since she was 10 years old. Her main teacher has been her grandmother and life in general. She had a restaurant in Nakonsowan, Thailand for many years, but since we moved to Tallinn, we decided to start one here.
Our manager, Marcus, is an actor and a theater director, who didn’t know anything about the restaurant business. Since we started, it has been a beautiful journey into the unknown. Marcus has directed around 40 plays and been acting in about 100. Starting Very Thai has been at least as creative and fun as doing theater.
